I began working for Athens Eye Doctors & Surgeons in 2011 as a Surgical Technologist and Ophthalmic Technician. After a couple years with the practice I went to work as a Surgical Coordinator for Vantage Outsourcing where I later went on to become their Account Executive and Regional Director for the Southeast. With Vantage I was still able to work closely with AEDS by providing services to their ASC and surrounding hospitals while also gaining additional experience in ophthalmic surgery, management and logistics. In 2019 I gladly accepted the opportunity to return to AEDS as the Assistant Manager of their surgery center, later to become the ASC Manager. I have always thoroughly enjoyed ophthalmology and the fulfillment that comes along with improving our patient's vision. It's very important to me that our patients leave our surgery center with not only excellent surgical outcomes but also the most enjoyable experience as possible. When I'm not in the ASC I'm busy raising three boys with my wonderful husband Thad.
